GLOBAL  IMPACT  STUDIES

If you find the truth, will you believe it?

If any man desires to do God's will, he will have the needed illumination to recognize, and can tell for himself whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking from myself and on my own accord.  John 7:17

APPENDIX A

Time Line

This time line puts into sequence the events of the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation which have been discussed in the preceding chapters of this book.  We are now going to take the pieces of the puzzle (each of the previous chapters) and assemble the puzzle.  The time line is the complete puzzle that has been presented in bits and pieces throughout this book.  No one piece stands by itself; all are interconnected with other pieces to form the whole.

The time line begins with the creation of the Universe and ends with the Universe being restored back to its original state of tranquility and harmony.  The question is asked in the book of Job, “Canst thou by searching find out Elohim? Canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?” (Job 11:7).  No matter how long we have studied the Scriptures there will always be new gems of truth to discover.  New light to unfold before our searching minds. As I have prayed and studied the Bible, especially the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation; I have come to understand different aspects about Elohim; in particular, His ability to reveal the future before it occurs.  I am left with these thoughts expressed by the psalmist:  “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it” (Psalm 139:6).  There is no means that we have to prove what I have written will ever occur.  Time will either prove me deceived or totally accurate in what I have written in this book.

This is your prophetic time line to the coming events of the last days.  As we have looked at Daniel and Revelation chapter by chapter, we saw events occurring.  The gaps in those chapters are filled in by portions of other chapters, thus interconnecting all the chapters with one another much like a jig-saw puzzle and revealing a sequence of events.

In some cases, events of great significance are repeated multiple times so we do not miss out on what is occurring.  Different aspects of those events are portrayed within separate chapters to create a clear picture of what is happening.

The Bible tells us, “Study to show thyself approved unto Elohim, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).  Do not just take what you have read as being the truth; too many want everything made easy without any further effort on their part, but where eternal interests are at stake, how can we put our eternal destinies in others’ hands?  Many will be lost because they have trusted in someone else to do what they should have done for themselves.  We must study for ourselves.  We must learn to think for ourselves and form our own opinions based on what our studies reveal to us

When I began studying the prophecies, I had certain preconceived ideas of what certain passages of scripture meant, but in studying them for myself with the Spirit of Elohim leading me, as promised in John 16:13, I saw that what I had previously accepted could not be sustained by the Bible.  This did not happen overnight.  I have been studying and restudying these prophecies for twenty-two years to make sure that I had it right.  I do not want to promote error for there is all too much of that being by others.

A passage of Scripture that has come to mean a great deal to me is found in Revelation 12:9:  “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world:  he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (emphasis added).  If Satan can deceive a third of the angels in the presence of Elohim, then this is a warning to us that he can surely lead us astray if we let our guard down!  There is a battle going on all around us which we cannot see between the forces of Satan and those of Elohim.  It behooves us to heed what is written in 1 Peter 5:8:  “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”  In addition to the followingf time line, there is another time line available on our web site at the following link:  http://globalimpactstudies.com/end-time-time-line-charts.html

Before the Universe was created:

“Whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8).

Before the Father and the Son began creating the Universe, a plan was formulated for the salvation of mankind when the need would arise.  Although Elohim did not predestine sin to come into existence, yet in His foreknowledge He knew that eventually it would happen, and He would be ready to meet it when it arrived.  Yahushua, His only begotten Son, was as good as slain when the need would arrive (Revelation 13:8).  Elohim knew what would take place, and a plan was made then to deal with it when that time occurred.  The names and life experiences of all of the redeemed were written in “the book of life” (Revelation 13:8; 20:12) and “sealed with seven seals” (Revelation 5:1) “when as yet there was none of them” (Psalm 139:16).

Before planet earth was inhabited:

“And there was war in heaven:  Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world:  he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:7-9).

“And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth” (Revelation 12:4).  In Revelation 9:16, we are told that the number of angels that left heaven with Satan were 200,000,000.

About       4,000 B.C.

The first promise and the first prophecy of Elohim recorded in the Bible were given to Adam and Eve and their offspring, which includes us and is found in Genesis 3:15. Elohim is speaking to Satan at the time. "And I will put enmity between thee [Satan] and the woman [the people of Elohim - His church], and between thy [Satan's] seed and her [the church of Elohim] seed; it [Death of Yahushua] shall bruise thy [Satan's] head, and thou [Satan] shalt bruise His [Yahushua’s] heel.”

Without this enmity, mankind would become like Satan. But it is through Elohim's grace (this "enmity") that man can overcome his inherited, fallen, human nature and overcome Satan and be transformed back into the likeness of Elohim. The seed of the woman, who is Yahushua, bruised Satan's head at Calvary even though Satan bruised the heel of Yahushua. One was a lethal blow and the other only a temporary wound.

602 BC

“Thou art this head of gold” (Daniel 2:38).

Daniel, at the time, was talking to King Nebuchadnezzar and was referring to the kingdom of Babylon as being represented by the “head of gold” in the metallic statue.  The Babylonian Empire rose to power under General Nabopolassar, who also became king.  When he died in 604 BC his son, Nebuchadnezzar, became king.

The kingdom of Babylon was also depicted in the vision Daniel had as the “lion, and had eagle’s wings:  I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it” (Daniel 7:4).

538 BC

“And after thee [Nebuchadnezzar] shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee” (Daniel 2:39).

“This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver” (Daniel 2:32).  The kingdom of Babylon was followed by the kingdom of the Medes and the Persians and was represented by silver as compared to the gold representing the Babylonian Empire.  The Medes and Persians never attained to the grandeur to which Babylon had attained, and just as silver is inferior to gold, so was the Medo-Persian Empire inferior to the Babylonian Empire.

The kingdom of the Medes and Persians was also depicted in the vision of Daniel 7 as “another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh” (Daniel 7:5).

In the vision contained in Daniel 8, we read, “Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns:  and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last” (Daniel 8:3).

“And the ram which thou saw having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia” (Daniel 8:20).  In this chapter, where it reads “one was higher than the other” and in Daniel 7 in which the bear “raised itself on one side,” the reigns of Darius and Cyrus were being described.  Cyrus gave way to Darius as the head of the Medes and Persians.  The historian Prideaux wrote, “Darius the Mede, that is Cyaxares, the uncle of Cyrus, took the kingdom; for Cyrus allowed him the title of all his conquests as long as he lived.”13

457 BC

Commandment given to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem.  “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem” (Daniel 9:25).

“In the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.  And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.  For upon the first day of the first month began he [Ezra] to go up from Babylon, and the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem” (Ezra 7:7-9).

“Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the Elohim of heaven, perfect peace, and at such a time.  I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of His priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee” (Ezra 7:12-28).

“The years of Artaxerxes’ reign are among the most easily established dates of history.  The Canon of Ptolemy, with its list of kings and astronomical observations, the Greek Olymiads, and allusions in Greek history to Persian affairs all combine to place the seventh year of Artaxerxes at 457 B.C. beyond successful controversion.”15

408 BC

“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks” (Daniel 9:25).

Within the seventy weeks mentioned in Daniel 9:24 are subdivisions.  The first subdivision mentioned in Daniel 9:25 is the “seven weeks” or 49 years when “the street shall be built and the wall, even in troublous times” (Daniel 9:25).

“In the fifteenth year of Darius Nothus ended the first seven weeks of the seventy weeks of Daniel’s prophecy.  For then the restoration of the church and state of the Jews in Jerusalem and Judea was fully finished, in the last act of reformation, which is recorded in the thirteenth chapter of Nehemiah, from the twenty-third verse to the end of the chapter, just forty nine years after it had been first begun by Ezra in the seventeenth year of Artaxerxes Longimanus.”16

331 BC

On the field of Arbela, the army of Alexander of Greece although outnumbered twenty to one, won a decisive victory of which the Persian Empire never fully recovered nor was able to mount a counterattack.

“And his thighs of brass” (Daniel 2:32).

“And another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth” (Daniel 2:39).

The kingdom of Greece was depicted in the vision of Daniel as “lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it” (Daniel 7:6).

In the vision contained in Daniel 8, we read, “As I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground:  and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes” (Daniel 8:5).

“And the rough he goat is the king of Grecia:  and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king” (Daniel 8:21).  The “great horn” was Alexander who could conquer nations but could not conquer his own weaknesses and died at the age of thirty-two from being overly intoxicated.

301 BC

“The beast also had four heads” (Daniel 7:6).

“And the rough goat is the king of Grecia:  and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.  Now that being broken [the death of Alexander], whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power” (Daniel 8:21, 22, emphasis added).

Alexander died in 323 BC and by 301 BC the division of his kingdom into four parts by his generals was completed.

44 BC

It was not until 44 BC that the transition from the Roman Republic to the Roman Empire commenced with the appointment of Julius Caesar as the perpetual dictator.

“His legs of iron” (Daniel 2:33).

“The fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron:  forasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and subdues all things:  and as iron shall break it in pieces and bruise” (Daniel 2:40).

“After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth:  it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it:  and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it” (Daniel 7:7).

“Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet” (Daniel 7:19).

4 BC

“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:  and she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered” (Revelation 12:1-2)

This child was Yahushua, the Messiah!  The promise made to Adam and Eve when they fell, that the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent, began to be fulfilled at this point in time when Yahushua came into the world.

“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule the nations with a rod of iron” (Revelation 12:5).

“And out of His [Yahushua’s] mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations:  and He shall rule them with a rod of iron” (Revelation 19:15).

2 BC

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns upon his heads.  And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:  and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born” (Revelation 12:3-4, emphasis added).

Satan attempted to stop the promise made to Adam and Eve from being fulfilled by destroying Yahushua when He was an infant.

“Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men” (Matthew 2:16).

AD 27

“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and three score and two weeks [or a total of 483 years] unto Messiah the Prince [from 457 BC]” (Daniel 9:25).  Dating from 457 BC, the 483 years ended in AD 27.

“Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Yahushua also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art My beloved Son; in Thee I am well pleased” (Luke 3:21-22).

After this came Yahushua “preaching the gospel of the kingdom of Elohim, and saying, the time is fulfilled” (Mark 1:14-15, emphasis added). What time is mentioned here as being “fulfilled?” The time mentioned in Daniel 9:25.

“Luke declared that Jesus ‘began to be about thirty years of age’ at the time of His baptism (Luke 3:23); and almost immediately after this He entered upon His ministry.  How, then, could His ministry begin in 27 A.D., and He still be of the age named by Luke?  The answer to this question is found in the fact that Christ was born between three or four years before the beginning of the Christian Era, that is, before the year called 1 A.D.  The mistake of dating the Christian Era somewhat over three years this side of the birth of Christ, instead of dating it from the year of His birth, as it was designed to be, arose on this wise.  One of the most important dates of ancient eras was reckoned from the building of the city of Rome – ab urbe condita – expressed by the abbreviation A.U.C., or more briefly U.C.  In the year which is now numbered 532 A.D., Dionysius Exiguus, a Scythian by birth, and a Roman abbot, who flourished in the reign of Justinian, invented the Christian Era.  According to the best evidence at his command, he placed the birth of Christ U.C. 753.  But Christ was born before the death of Herod; and it was afterward ascertained on the clearest evidence that the death of Herod occurred in April, U.C. 750.  Allowing a few months for the events recorded in Christ’s life before the time of Herod’s death, his birth is carried back to the latter part of U.C. 749, a little more than three years before 1 A.D.  Christ was therefore thirty years of age in 27 A.D.

“The Vulgar (common) era began to prevail in the West about the time of Charles Martel and Pope Gregory II, in 730 A.D.; but was not sanctioned by any public Acts or Rescripts till the first German Synod, in the time of Carolomannus, Duke of the Franks, which, in the preface, was said to be assembled Anno ab incarnatione Dom, 742 A.D., 11 Calendas Maii.  But it was not established till the time of Pope Eugenius IV, 1431 A.D., who ordered this era to be used in the public Registers:  according to Maria-na, and others.”17

AD 31

“And He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:  and in the midst of the week He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease” (Daniel 9:27).

This is the last week of the seventy, or the last seven years of the four hundred and ninety years.  “In the midst of the week” we are told “he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.”  The previous verse in Daniel 9 states “Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself” (Daniel 9:26).

The crucifixion is found in the middle of the last week.  That was in AD 31, three and a half years after the Messiah began His ministry.  There are only four Passovers mentioned that Yahushua attended which are found in John 2:13; 5:1; 6:4; and 13:1.  At the last mentioned Passover, He was crucified.  If Yahushua began His ministry after the Passover in AD 27, the first Passover He attended was in AD 28, the second in AD 29, the third in AD 30, and the fourth and last in AD 31.

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our Elohim, and the power of His Messiah:  for the accuser of our brethren is cast down [Satan], which accused them before our Elohim day and night.  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them” (Revelation 12:10-12, emphasis added).  Yahushua had bruised the head of the serpent, even though His (Yahushua’s) heel was bruised (Genesis 3:15).

Satan was not cast down until the death of Yahushua even though he was cast out of heaven approximately 4,000 years earlier.  The covenant of salvation was ratified when Yahushua by His own blood confirmed the covenant that He and the Father had made before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8).

AD 34

“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy” (Daniel 9:24, emphasis added).  The seventy weeks or 490 years ended in AD 34.

Elohim had high hopes for the nation of Israel, but they failed Him miserably.  In this vision given to Daniel, the final ultimatum was given to Israel.  They were “to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness.”  If they had succeeded in accomplishing these commands the prophecies which we are about to see fulfilled in our lifetime would not be taking place.  “The vision and the prophecy” relating to our day would have been sealed up (“To seal up the vision and the prophecy”).  The Messiah would have been anointed.  “Everlasting righteousness” would have come to this earth.  Jerusalem would have remained and established as the center of Elohim’s kingdom forever.

“Then shall enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem:  and this city shall remain forever” (Jeremiah 17:25, emphasis added).  “Then” indicates that there were conditions that had to be met before the promises could be realized.

This is a warning to be heeded by those living today.  Elohim has been very patient with what is taking place on this earth.  He knows every detail of what is going on here.  There is nothing that He is not aware of.  “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it” (Psalm 139:6).  While we are told in Acts 17:30, “The times of this ignorance Elohim winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”

“Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he hath but a short time.  And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman [the true church of Elohim] which brought forth the man child” (Revelation 12:12-13).

Persecution did not wait until the papacy ascended to power in AD 538 but was carried on from the time of the stoning of Stephen by the Jews and then carried on by the heathen who saw their idols threatened as early Christianity spread.  The true church of Elohim has never been honored by the world in which it has carried on the work left to it by Yahushua and which was foretold by Yahushua (Matthew 5:11-12).

AD 70

The final specification of the prophecy found in Daniel 9 and not tied to the times previously mentioned in Daniel 9 is “the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined” (Daniel 9:26, emphasis added).

In AD 70, Jerusalem was destroyed by the Roman armies along with the Temple.  In answer to the disciples question when they “came to Him for to show Him the buildings of the temple . . . Yahushua said unto them, See ye not all these things?  Verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down” (Matthew 24:1-2).

In Matthew 24:15-20, Yahushua warned His disciples “when ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:)  then let him which be in Judea flee into the mountains.”

The disciples were to read Daniel and understand what they were reading which pertained to their time in which they lived and to heed the warning and flee.  Daniel 11:31 pertained to the time of the disciples, and when they saw “the abomination that makes desolate” take place they left Judea at the earliest possible opportunity, and supposedly not one follower of Messiah was killed when the Roman armies returned and destroyed the city and the temple in AD 70.  The Roman army standing on holy ground surrounding the city of Jerusalem was the “abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet.”  There is another “abomination of desolation” to take place near the close this earth’s history of which the one we have just discussed is foreshadowed.  As the Roman army surrounded Jerusalem, so when Satan establishes his throne in Jerusalem, the second “abomination of desolation” will take place (Daniel 11:45, Ezekiel 28:2, Isaiah 14:13, 2 Thessalonians 2:4).

The “little horn” and its rise to power

The papacy did not wait until after the ten kingdoms came into power to burst suddenly upon the scene, but had been slowly growing into what it eventually became even during the first century when the apostles were still alive.  The amalgamation of Christianity with paganism began even during the time of the writers of the New Testament letters.  “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work” (2 Thessalonians 2:7).

“And there are seven kings:  five are fallen, and one is” (Revelation 17:10, emphasis added).  The beginning of what would eventually become the papacy was already in place during the apostles’ times.

“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.  For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our Elohim into lasciviousness, and denying the only Yahuwah Elohim, and our Master Yahushua the Messiah” (Jude 3-4).

When John received his vision the five religions, then existing in the world, were already proven to be false.  They were Judaism (in its apostate form), Islam (Moslem), atheism, heathenism, and Eastern mysticism.  “And one is” was the papacy in its infancy.

Fourth century

“And he shall speak great things against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws” (Daniel 7:25).

The papacy threw out the second commandment and would not allow the Biblical calendar to be used in determining the new moon days, the lunar–solar weekly Sabbath, and the yearly feast days.

AD 351 - 476 The ten kingdoms

“The division of the Western Roman Empire was accomplished between 351 A.D. and 476 A.D.  The era of dissolution thus covered a hundred and twenty-five years . . . No historians of whom we are aware, places the beginning of this work of the dismemberment of the Roman Empire earlier than 351 A.D., and there is general agreement in assigning its close in 476 A.D.  Concerning the intermediate dates, that is, the precise time from which each of the ten kingdoms that arose on the ruins of the Roman Empire is to be dated, there is some difference of views among historians.  Nor does it seem strange, when we consider that there was an era of great confusion, that the map of the Roman Empire during that time underwent many sudden and violent changes, and that the paths of hostile nations charging upon its territory crossed and recrossed each other in a labyrinth of confusion.  But all historians agree in this, that out of the territory of Western Rome, ten separate kingdoms were ultimately established, and we may safely assign them to the time between the dates above named:  namely, 351 A.D. and 476 A.D.

“The ten nations which were most instrumental in breaking up the Roman Empire, and which at some time in their history held respectively portions of Roman territory as separate and independent kingdoms, may be enumerated (without respect to the time of their establishment) as follows:  Huns, Ostrogoths, Visigoths, Franks, Vandals, Suevi, Burgundians, Heruli, Anglo-Saxon, and Lombards.  The connection between these and some of the modern nations of Europe, is still traceable in the names, as England, Burgundy, Lombardy, France, etc.”17

“And it had ten horns” (Daniel 7:7).  “And after the ten horns that were in his head” (Daniel 7:20).  “And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings [nations] that shall arise” (Daniel 7:24).

Emergence of the “little horn”

“And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other [little horn] which came up” (Daniel 7:20, emphasis added).

“And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise:  and another [little horn] shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first” (Daniel 7:24, emphasis added).

“I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn” (Daniel 7:8, emphasis added).   This "little horn" is the papacy.

The three Horns plucked up!

“And before whom three fell” (Daniel 7:20).  “He shall subdue three kings” (Daniel 7:24).  “There were three of the first horns plucked up” (Daniel 7:8).

Heruli – AD 493

Vandals – AD 534

Ostrogoths – AD 553 (Ostrogoths were driven from Rome in AD 538.)

The three horns or nations were Arian in belief concerning the Deity and prevented the papacy from exercising absolute power over the people.  Until the last Ostrogoth king was driven from Rome, the papacy could not control the masses under her domain.

The “little horn” representing the papacy arose to power in AD 538 as was foretold in Daniel 7:25 even though the seed of what he was to become had been around for nearly five hundred years by then.

1260 years of papal persecution began in AD 538

“And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High . . . and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time” (Daniel 7:25, emphasis added).

“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent” (Revelation 12:14, emphasis added).

“And I [Elohim] will put enmity between thy seed [Satan’s followers] and the woman [Yahushua’s followers]” (Genesis 3:15, emphasis added).

1500’s

“And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come [on the earth] and when he cometh, he must remain a short space” (Revelation 17:10, emphasis added).

Protestantism had slowly been evolving through what is commonly called the Middle Ages but began in earnest with the emergence of Martin Luther.  In comparison to the other religions of the world, Protestantism has only been around for five hundred years.

1600’s

“And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.  And the earth helped the woman, and the earth swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth” (Revelation 12:15-16).

The New World was opening its doors for those who were oppressed because of religious intolerance during the latter part of the 1260 years of papal oppression.  Others besides the papacy were persecuting the followers of Elohim.

AD 1798

In 1798 the judgment of earth’s inhabitants began and the end of 1260 years of papal power ended when it received its “deadly wound.”

“But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion” (Daniel 7:26). A heavenly event [“judgment shall sit” occurs at the same time as an earthly event “take away his (papacy’s) dominion” occurs.  In 1798 the armies of France entered into Rome and imprisoned the pope.

Yahushua receives the “book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals” (Revelation 5:1).

“And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim sent forth into all the earth.  And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne” (Revelation 5:6-7).

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.  And I saw, and behold a white horse:  and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him:  and he went forth conquering, and to conquer” (Revelation 6:1-2).

The first Bible Societies were formed in the early 1800’s for the distribution of the Bible.  Elohim's Word was having unprecedented distribution in the world.

Early 1800’s. The second seal

“And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.  And there went out  another horse that was red:  and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another:  and there was given unto him a great sword” (Revelation 6:3-4).

A period referred to as the "Great Awakening" occurred as the result of the distribution and reading of the Bible.

Middle 1800’s The third seal

“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see.  And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine” (Revelation 6:5-6).

A movement proclaiming a message of judgment and revealing light on the sanctuary in heaven occurred.

**Present day**

“And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:  and He had in his hand a little book open” (Revelation 10:1-2, emphasis added).

“And I went unto the angel and said unto him, Give me the little book.  And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.  And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey:  and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.  And He said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings” (Revelation 10:9-11, emphasis added).

What you are reading is the result of the study of the Word of Elohim and Elohim’s message to the last generation which is foretelling what is to come.  Everything in the time line from here to the end is still in the future.

We are on hold until the 144,000 are sealed.

“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.  And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living Elohim:  and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our Elohim in their foreheads.  And I heard the number of them which were sealed:  and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of the tribes of the children of Israel” (Revelation 7:1-4, emphasis added).

Is Elohim calling you to this select group?  Can you hear His voice calling you?  “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).

Once the 144,000 are sealed the “time of trouble” can begin

“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.  These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goes.  These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto Elohim and to the Lamb” (Revelation 14:4).  Yahuwah is waiting for the 144,000 to come to a state of perfection by His indwelling Spirit before He seals them for their mission.  They will be the firstfruits of His work for His people at the end of time.

“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in Yahuwah your Elohim:  for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain . . .  the latter rain in the first month” (Joel 2:23, emphasis added).  The 144,000 are sealed with latter rain power at the time of a future Passover which is the first spring feast day (Leviticus 23:5) in the "first month."

“And from the time the daily sacrifice shall be taken away” (Daniel 12:11 and Revelation 8:2-5).  The earthly “daily” was done away at the crucifixion which occurred on the Passover.  The heavenly “daily” will be done away with on the preparation day of the Passover (John 19:14) which will be marked by the first global earthquake accompanied by “voices, and thunderings, and lightnings.”

First global earthquake occurs!

“And I saw angels which stood before Elohim; and to them were given seven trumpets.  And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.  And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before Elohim out of the angel’s hand.  And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth:  and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.  And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound” (Revelation 8:2-6, emphasis added).  When the global earthquake accompanied by voices, thunderings and lightnings occurs it will signal to earth’s inhabitants that the “daily” in the heavenly Sanctuary has been taken away and the “Time of Trouble” spoken of in Daniel 12:1 has begun.

When the global earthquake accompanied by voices, thunderings and lightnings occurs it will signal to earth’s inhabitants that the “daily” in the heavenly Sanctuary has been taken away and the “Time of Trouble” spoken of in Daniel 12:1 has begun.

“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of thy people:  and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time” (Daniel 12:1, emphasis added).

“And I will give power unto My two witnesses, and they [144,000] shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days clothed in sackcloth.  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the Elohim of the earth.  And if any man hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies:  and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.  These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy:  and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will” (Revelation 11:3-6, emphasis added).

“In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord’s Passover” (Leviticus 23:5).  This is the starting point for the 1290 days (abomination of desolation [Daniel 12:11] - Feast of Trumpets [Leviticus 23:24]), 1300 days (sanctuary cleansed [Daniel 8:14] - Day of Atonement [Leviticus 23:27]), and the 1305 days (special resurrection [Daniel 12:2] – Feast of Tabernacles [Leviticus 23:34])

The “latter rain” will be poured out on the 144,000 just like the “early rain” was poured out of the 70 apostles and disciples on the Day of Pentecost. “Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in Yahuwah your Elohim: for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former [early] rain, and the latter rain in the first month” (Joel 2:23, emphasis added).

The 144,000 after having been sealed give the first angel’s message of Revelation 14

“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with Him an hundred and forty and four thousand having His Father’s name written in their foreheads . . .  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.  These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goes.  These were redeemed from among men. Being the firstfruits unto Elohim and to the Lamb.  And in their mouth was found no guile:  for they are without fault before the throne of Elohim.

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear Elohim  and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come:  and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters” (Revelation 14:1-7, emphasis added).

Notice the four things that are “hurt” by the first four trumpets (Revelation 8:6-12) in order are:  trees, sea, fountains of waters, and the heavens.  We are called to worship Elohim because He has made these things (Revelation 14:7).  The judgment of Elohim begins as the 144,000 begin giving their testimony for 1260 days (Revelation 11:7).  “Ye are My witnesses, saith Yahuwah” (Isaiah 43:10).  The 144,000 will be bearing a powerful testimony in behalf of their Creator!  As a result of the ministry of the 144,000, the “great multitude” pictured in Revelation 7:9 will come out of Babylon over the next 3½ years.

The first trumpet

“The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth:  and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up” (Revelation 8:7, emphasis added).

The second trumpet

“And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea:  and the third part of the sea became blood; and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed” (Revelation 8:8-9, emphasis added).

The third trumpet

“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; and the name of the star is called Wormwood:  and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter” (Revelation 8:10-11, emphasis added).

The fourth trumpet

“And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the  sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise” (Revelation 8:12, emphasis added).

What could not be hurt (“hurt not the earth, neither the sea, not the trees” [Revelation 7:3]) until the 144,000 were sealed in their foreheads will now be harmed during a 30 day period as seen in the first four trumpets.  In Revelation 14:7 we read, “worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”  The first angel’s message is given at the time these events are occurring.

The fourth seal

“And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.  And I looked, and behold a pale horse:  and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.  And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth” (Revelation 6:7-8, emphasis added).

One fourth of the earth’s population is killed during the sounding of the first four trumpets.  The human toll resulting from the first four trumpets is pictured in the fourth seal.  If there are 7 billion people on earth at that time, 1.75 billion will be killed during the first 30 days of the “time of trouble.”

The second angel’s message of Revelation chapter fourteen

“And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication” (Revelation 14:8, emphasis added).  Ancient Babylon was the original attempt by man to have a one-world government which Elohim overthrew.

“And after these things I saw another angel come down having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.  And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.  For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.  For her sins have reached unto heaven, and Elohim hath remembered her iniquities” (Revelation 18:1-5, emphasis added).

It is hard to know where to put this piece of the puzzle.  It goes with our next item when the New World Order takes control of the earth.  They really go together, but need to be separate also.  The second angel’s message and the message to come out of Babylon as pictured in Revelation 18 are being given as the New World Order is taking control of earth.

The New World Order takes control of planet earth for forty and two months and ends at the 1290th day from the first global earthquake pictured in Revelation 8:5.

42 months will begin thirty days after the first global earthquake.

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:  and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.  And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed:  and all the world wondered after the beast.  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast:  and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against Elohim, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:  and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  If any man have an ear, let him hear.  He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity:  he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword.  Here is the patience and the faith of the saints” (Revelation 13:1-10, emphasis added).

“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod:  and the angel stood, saying, Rise, measure the temple of Elohim, and the altar, and them that worship therein.  But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles:  and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.” (Revelation 11:1-2, emphasis added).

“And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken” (Daniel 2:42)

The New World Order will be an amalgamation of the political and the religious entities of this world that will reign on the earth for forty-two months.

The fifth seal

“And when he had opened the fifth seal. I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of Elohim, and for the testimony which they held [Revelation 1:9, 12:11]:  and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Yahuwah, holy and true, dost Thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?  And white robes were given them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled” (Revelation 6:9-11, emphasis added).

Elohim’s people will be blamed for the destruction and death occurring under the first four trumpets and the fourth seal and many will be killed during the time pictured under the fifth seal.

The entrance of Satan onto the scene at least twenty-one months after the New World Order takes control

“And in the latter time of their kingdom [42 month reign (Revelation 13:5)], when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.  And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power:  and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice” (Daniel 8:23-24, emphasis added).

Satan arrives on the scene sometime after the twenty-first month of the New World Order coming into power.

The Fifth trumpet is describing the same king as described in Daniel 8:23 above

A five month period of Satan tormenting all that are not “sealed.”

“And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth:  and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.  And he opened the bottomless pit:  and there arose a smoke of a great furnace; and the sun was darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.  And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth:  and unto them was given power, as scorpions of the earth have power.  And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of Elohim in their foreheads.  And to them was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months:  and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he strikes a man.  And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.  And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.  And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.  And they had breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.  And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails:  and their power was to hurt men five months.  And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.  One woe is past; and behold, there come two woes more hereafter” (Revelation 9:1-12, emphasis added).

Same king as just previously described in Revelation 9:1-11 & Daniel 8:23

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the Elohim of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished:  for that that is determined shall be done.  Neither shall he regard the Elohim of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god:  for he shall magnify himself above all.  But in his estate shall he honor the god of forces:  and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.  Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory:  and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain” (Daniel 11:36-39, emphasis added).

Same being as described in previous three sections.

Satan implements the “mark of the beast.”

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.  And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast [New World Order], whose deadly wound was healed [whose one head was wounded].  And he doeth great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.  And he deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.  And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.  Here is wisdom.  Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast:  for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six” (Revelation 13:11-18, emphasis added).

The third angel’s message of Revelation chapter 14

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of Elohim, which is poured into the cup of His indignation” (Revelation 14:9-10, emphasis added).

Warning not to “worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark” no matter what the cost!

The death of those who do not receive the mark or worship his image

“Here is the patience of the saints:  here are they that keep the commandments of Elohim, and the faith of Yahushua.  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Master from henceforth” (Revelation 14:12-13, emphasis added).

“I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahushua, and for the word of Elohim, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands” (Revelation 20:4).

The war between the kings of the north and the south with Satan

“And at the time of the end [close to the end of the ‘time of trouble’] shall the king of the south push at him:  and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships” (Daniel 11:40).

These kings of the north and the south come against the “king” mentioned in Daniel 11:36 who was identified as Satan.

The Sixth Trumpet:  results of the war between the kings of the north and the south with Satan

“And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before Elohim, saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.  And the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred thousand thousand [200,000,000]:  and I heard the number of them.  And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone:  and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.  By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke and brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.  For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails:  for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood:  which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:  Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts” (Revelation 9:13-21, emphasis added).

The statement that a third part of men are slain in this war is repeated and is there to add caution to those who would attempt to wage war against Satan.

Conclusion of the 1,260 days from the first global earthquake.

Around four days later. 1264 days after the first global earthquake.

“And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power:  and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people” (Daniel 8:24, emphasis added).

It shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people all these things shall be finished” (Daniel 12:7, emphasis added).

“And they [the 144,000] shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth” (Revelation 11:3).

“And when they shall have finished their [the 144,000] testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them and kill them.  And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Master was crucified [Jerusalem].  And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in the graves.  And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.  And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from Elohim entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither.  And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.  And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand:  and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the Elohim of heaven.  The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe [the seventh trumpet] cometh quickly” (Revelation 11:7-14, emphasis added).

Shortly after in heaven.

“And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of Elohim.  And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire:  and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of Elohim.  And they sing the song of Moses the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb [Revelation 14:3], saying, Great and marvelous are Thy works, Yahuwah Elohim Almighty:  just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of Saints.  Who shall not fear Thee, O Yahuwah, and glorify Thy name?  for Thou only art holy:  For all nations shall come and worship before Thee; for Thy judgments are made manifest.  And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:  and the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven last plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having on their breasts girded with golden girdles and one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angles seven golden vials full of the wrath of Elohim, Who lives forever and ever.  And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of Elohim, and His power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled” (Revelation 15:1-8, emphasis added).

“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father’s name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as a the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: and they sung as it were a new song,l before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. There Are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto Elohim and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of Elohim” (Revelation 14:1-5).

The seventh trumpet is the third woe which is the seven last plagues.

”The second woe [the sixth trumpet (Revelation 9:12-21, 11:7-13)] is past; and, behold, the third woe [the seventh trumpet] cometh quickly.  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Sovereign, and of His Messiah; and He shall reign forever and ever . . . And the nations were angry, and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that Thou should give reward unto Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Thy name, small and great; and should destroy them that destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:14-18, emphasis added).

“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth” (Revelation 16:1, emphasis added).

The third woe (Revelation 9:12) and the seventh trumpet (Revelation 16:1) are the same.

In spite of all that has happened, Elohim’s wrath, unmingled with mercy, is not poured out until the time of the seven last plagues.

The first         last plague

“And the first went, and poured out his vial, upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image” (Revelation 16:2).

The second last plague

“And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man:  and every living soul died in the sea” (Revelation 16:3).

Unlike the second trumpet affecting only one ocean and killing only a third of the sea creatures, we read in this plague that all the living creatures in all the seas will die.

The third     last plague

“And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.  And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Yahuwah, which art, and wast, and shall be, because Thou hast judged thus.  For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and Thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.  And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Yahuwah Elohim Almighty, true and righteous are Thy judgments” (Revelation 16:4-7, emphasis added).

Elohim gives us the reason why this plague will be poured out; “they have shed the blood of saints and prophets.”  “Dearly beloved. Avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath:  for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith Yahuwah” (Romans 12:19).  What has existed only by the promise of Elohim is now executed (Deuteronomy 32:35-36).

The fourth last plague

“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.  And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of Elohim, which hath power over these plagues:  and they repented not to give Him glory” (Revelation 16:8-9, emphasis added).

Many of the great multitude pictured in Revelation 7:9 will be alive and will go through the seven last plagues as indicated by what is said about them in the following:  “they shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat” (Revelation 7:16, emphasis added).

1290 days -  abomination of desolation (The Feast of Trumpets)

“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the seventh month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation” (Leviticus 23:24, emphasis added).

“And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days” (Daniel 12:11, emphasis added).

There will be 1,290 days between the first global earthquake pictured in Revelation 8:5 and the abomination of desolation pictured in Daniel 12:11 which will take place on the feast of trumpets.

When Satan sets up his throne in Jerusalem it is the abomination of desolation and takes place 1290 days after the first global earthquake on the feast of trumpets.

“And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him” (Daniel 11:45, emphasis added).

“Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim, or that is worshipped; so that he as Elohim sits in the temple of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim” (2 Thessalonians 2:4, emphasis added).

“Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus [Satan], Thus saith the Yahwuah Elohim; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am an El, I sit in the seat of Elohim in the midst of seas; yet thou art a man, and not El, though thou set thine heart as the heart of Elohim” (Ezekiel 28:2, emphasis added).

"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohim:  I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High" (Isaiah 14:13-14, emphasis added).  "Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King" (Psalm 48:2).  Satan has long desired to set his throne up where Elohim had set His throne.

Ends the 42 month reign of the NWO.

“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months” (Revelation 13:5, emphasis added).

“For it is given unto to the Gentiles:  and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months” (Revelation 11:2, emphasis added).

The New World Order (NWO) came into power thirty days after the first global earthquake and comes to an end when Satan sets up his throne in Jerusalem 30 days after the 144,000 have been killed.

The fifth last plague

“And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, and blasphemed the Elohim of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds” (Revelation 16:10-11, emphasis added).

In answer to Satan setting up his kingdom “in the seat of Elohim” (Ezekiel 28:2) “between the seas in the glorious holy mountain” (Daniel 11:45) proclaiming himself to be Elohim (2 Thessalonians 2:4) this plague will be poured out “on the seat of the beast.”

The sixth last plague.  Satan’s support of the NWO has dried up and Satan sets up his  confederate angels as “kings”

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.  And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of Elohim Almighty.  Behold, I come as a thief.  Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walked naked, and they see his shame.  And he gathers them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon” (Revelation 16:12-16, emphasis added).

Satan’s support of the New World Order is dried up.

“Ten kings” are Satan’s main confederate angels who reign with him for a very short period of time.

“And the ten horns which thou saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour [very short period of time] with the beast.  These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.  These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them:  for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings” (Revelation 17:12-14, emphasis added).

“And in the days of these kings shall the Elohim of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed” (Daniel 2:44, emphasis added).

In the days of these “ten kings” Yahushua returns.  Satan turns on the New World Order and rules the earth with his cohorts for a very short period of time.

The judgment of the “great whore” is the NWO or modern- day Babylon.

“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither:  I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters: with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.  So he carried me away in the spirit in the wilderness:  and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:  and upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” (Revelation 17:1-5, emphasis added).

“These [the ten kings] shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire” (Revelation 17:16).

The New World Order does not expect this from the one she worships, and it comes as a complete surprise.

The seventh last plague

“And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying It is done.  [The sanctuary has been cleansed (Daniel 8:14)].  And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.  And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell:  and great Babylon came in remembrance before Elohim, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath, And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.  And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent:  and men blasphemed Elohim because of the plague of the hail:  for the hail thereof was exceeding great” (Revelation 16:17-21, emphasis added).

1300 days - the cleansing of the Sanctuary (The Day of Atonement)

Same event described as in the seventh past plague.

“Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement:  it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering before the Yahuwah your Elohim . . . it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings” (Leviticus 23:27, 31, emphasis added).

“And the temple of Elohim was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament [The only time the Most Holy Place could be seen was on the Day of Atonement when the High Priest went into the Holiest of Holies]:  and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” (Revelation 11:19)  This is the same earthquake and hail that was being described in Revelation 16:17-21 during the pouring out of the seventh last plague.

Once again as we have seen previously an earthly event (earthquake with great hail) and a heavenly event (cleansing of the sanctuary) occur simultaneously so we might understand what is going on in heaven.

“And he said unto me, Unto two* thousand and three hundred days [evenings and mornings NAS]: then shall the sanctuary be cleansed” (Daniel 8:14).

*I believe that the 2,300 days should actually be 1,300 days.  Daniel 7:25 tells us the papacy will think to change “times.”

As the opening of the “Time of Trouble” was signaled by an earthquake, lightnings and thunderings, and voices; so will the closing work in the “Cleansing of the Sanctuary” be declared by thunderings, lightnings, voices, and an earthquake with the accompaniment of great hail.  Soon Yahushua will leave heaven to come to planet earth.

1305 days – a blessed day – a time of great rejoicing in the Hebrew Economy (The Feast of Tabernacles)

"The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days" (Leviticus 23:34).

Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty* days” (Daniel 12:12, emphasis added).

*I believe this should be 1305 days and not 1335 days.  All the fall feast days will land on the day of the Biblical calendar that they are to be observed on.  Daniel 7:25 tells us the papacy will think to change “times.”

“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Master from henceforth:  Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.” (Revelation 14:13, emphasis added).

Both are blessed by the same event that will come on the 1,305th day since the first global earthquake and is the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles which I believe will be when Elohim announces the time of Yahushua’s return and when a special resurrection takes place that is described in Daniel 12:2.

A special resurrection.

“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2, emphasis added).

A special resurrection for those who have died under the sounding of third angel’s message.  In spite of being put to death for not worshipping the beast or his image or accepting his mark in their hand or in their forehead, they will be resurrected to see Yahushua return in the clouds of glory along with those who put Yahushua to death (Revelation 1:7).  This is why they are said to be blessed in Revelation 14:13.

These three fall feast days all fall into place when one uses the Passover three and a half years earlier for the starting point and uses the Metonic Calendar.  “Therefore let no one sit in judgment on you in matters of food and drink, or with regard to a Feast Day or a New Moon or a Sabbath.  Such things are only the shadow of things that are to come” (Colossians 2:16-17 Amplified Version, emphasis added). The fall feast days meet their fulfillment in the last days prior to the return of Yahushua!

The sixth seal: the return of Yahushua.

“And I beheld when he opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:  For the great day of His wrath is come; and who is able to stand?” (Revelation 6:12-17, emphasis added).

“And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our Elohim; we have waited for Him, and He will save us:  This is the Yahuwah:  we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation” (Isaiah 25:9).

There will be two groups on earth when Yahushua returns.  Some will rejoice and be looking forward to seeing Him and others will cry for “the mountains and rocks” to fall on them and to hide them from His face.  One group has been reconciled to Elohim and has made peace with Him, and the other group has maintained their rebellion and hatred of Him.  It is still not too late to make your choice!  He is standing at the door of your heart, knocking and waiting to be invited into your heart to transform you and prepare you to meet Him in peace!

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.  And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:  and His name is called the Word of Elohim.  And the armies which were in heaven [including the 144,000 (Jude 14, Deuteronomy 33:2)] followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron:  and He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty Elohim.  And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.  And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a louyod voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great Elohim; that ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit upon them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army.  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.  These both were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. [It does not say that they were cast into the lake of fire when Yahushua returns, but they will be cast into the lake of fire when fire comes down from Elohim out of heaven as described in Revelation 20:9-10.]  And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His mouth” (Revelation 19:11-21).  This is the Battle of Armageddon.

First resurrection!

“For the Master Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Elohim:  and the dead in the Messiah shall rise first:  then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet the Master in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Master” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, emphasis added).

Some believe what Zechariah is describing in chapter 14 is what will take place when Yahushua returns, but we see in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 that Yahushua does not touch down on the earth, and the resurrected saints and those who are alive at His coming meet Him in the air and will return to heaven to spend the next 1,000 years with the Father and Yahushua.

Satan confined to the Bottomless Pit for a thousand years while the saints are in heaven for a thousand years

“And I saw an angel come down from heaven [to this earth], having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled:  and after that he must be loosed a little season” (Revelation 20:1-3, emphasis added).

On the Day of Atonement, at the conclusion of the ceremony, the sins that were removed from the Sanctuary were placed on the “scapegoat” and that scapegoat was led out into the wilderness.  The placing of the sins of those who have been forgiven, will be upon Satan, who in the final destruction of sin and sinners, will bear the final punishment for those sins which the saved have been forgiven.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahushua, and for the word of Elohim, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with the Messiah a thousand years.  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.  This is the first resurrection.  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:  on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Yahuwah and of the Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4-6, emphasis added).

During the thousand years the book sealed with seven seals is opened

“Therefore are they [‘the great multitude’ (Revelation 7:9)] before the throne of Elohim, and serve Him day and night in His temple:  and He that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.  They shall hunger no more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.  For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters:  and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.  And when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour” (Revelation 7:15-8:1, emphasis added).

“Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them” (Psalm 139:16, emphasis added).

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Elohim; and the books were opened:  and another book was opened, which is the book of life” (Revelation 20:12, emphasis added).

The book with seven seals was sealed before the Father and His Son created the Universe and began populating it.  When it is opened, after the seventh seal is removed, the redeemed of the earth will behold in amazement the sight of their names and their life records.  All will be lost for words, and yet it will be seen that Elohim never interfered with their freedom of will.  “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it” (Psalm 139:6).  Elohim has foreknowledge and does not predestine anyone to be lost or saved.  He would have all men to be saved (2 Peter 3:9).  The record in the "book of life" matches what is written in the book sealed with seven seals.

When the thousand years are ended

Second Resurrection!

"And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south" (Zechariah 14:4).  Yahushua will preapre an area for the new Jerusalem to settle down on when it is brought to this earth.

“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Elohim out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Revelation 21:1).

“But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished” (Revelation 20:5, emphasis).

And when the thousand years have expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and he shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle:  the number of whom is as the sand of the sea” (Revelation 20:7-8, emphasis added).

Second Death!

"For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem [the new Jerusalem] to battle" (Zechariah 14:2).

“And they [Satan, his angels, and all the lost] went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city [New Jerusalem]:  and fire came down from Elohim out heaven, and devoured them.  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone . . . And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell [the grave] delivered up the dead which were in them . . . and death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.  This is the second death” (Revelation 20:9-14, emphasis added).

“And behold the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble:  and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith Yahuwah of hosts, that it shall neither leave them root nor branch . . . And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith Yahuwah of hosts” (Malachi 4:1-3, emphasis added).

"Thou [Satan] hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.  All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee:  thou shalt be a terror, and never shall thou be any more" (Ezekiel 28:18).  Psalm 103:1.

“But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Yahuwah shall be as the fat of lambs:  they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away” (Psalm 37:20, emphasis added).

When something is set on fire, it either goes up in smoke or turns to ashes.  That is the end of Satan, his angels and the lost.  They will not be tortured throughout eternity!

Eternity!

“‘I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away.’ Revelation 21:1. The fire that consumes the wicked purifies the earth. Every trace of the curse is swept away. No eternally burning hell will keep before the ransomed the fearful consequences of sin.

“One reminder alone remains: Our Redeemer will ever bear the marks of His crucifixion. Upon His wounded head, upon His side, His hands and feet, are the only traces of the cruel work that sin has wrought. Says the prophet, beholding Christ in His glory: ‘He had bright beams coming out of His side: and there was the hiding of His power.’ Habakkuk 3:4, margin. That pierced side whence flowed the crimson stream that reconciled man to God--there is the Saviour's glory, there ‘the hiding of His power.’  ‘Mighty to save,’ through the sacrifice of redemption, He was therefore strong to execute justice upon them that despised God's mercy. And the tokens of His humiliation are His highest honor; through the eternal ages the wounds of Calvary will show forth His praise and declare His power.

“‘O Tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, unto Thee shall it come, even the first dominion.’ Micah 4:8. The time has come to which holy men have looked with longing since the flaming sword barred the first pair from Eden, the time for ‘the redemption of the purchased possession.’ Ephesians 1:14. The earth originally given to man as his kingdom, betrayed by him into the hands of Satan, and so long held by the mighty foe, has been brought back by the great plan of redemption. All that was lost by sin has been restored. ‘Thus saith the Lord . . . that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited.’ Isaiah 45:18. God's original purpose in the creation of the earth is fulfilled as it is made the eternal abode of the redeemed. ‘The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever.’ Psalm 37:29.

“A fear of making the future inheritance seem too material has led many to spiritualize away the very truths which lead us to look upon it as our home. Christ assured His disciples that He went to prepare mansions for them in the Father's house. Those who accept the teachings of God's word will not be wholly ignorant concerning the heavenly abode. And yet, ‘eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.’ 1 Corinthians 2:9. Human language is inadequate to describe the reward of the righteous. It will be known only to those who behold it. No finite mind can comprehend the glory of the Paradise of God.

“In the Bible the inheritance of the saved is called ‘a country.’ Hebrews 11:14-16. There the heavenly Shepherd leads His flock to fountains of living waters. The tree of life yields its fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree are for the service of the nations. There are ever-flowing streams, clear as crystal, and beside them waving trees cast their shadows upon the paths prepared for the ransomed of the Lord. There the wide-spreading plains swell into hills of beauty, and the mountains of God rear their lofty summits. On those peaceful plains, beside those living streams, God's people, so long pilgrims and wanderers, shall find a home.

“‘My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.’ ‘Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.’ ‘They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: . . . Mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.’ Isaiah 32:18; 60:18; Isaiah 65:21, 22.

“There, ‘the wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.’ ‘Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree.’ ‘The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; . . . and a little child shall lead them.’ ‘They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,’ saith the Lord. Isaiah 35:1; 55:13; Isaiah 11:6, 9.

“Pain cannot exist in the atmosphere of heaven. There will be no more tears, no funeral trains, no badges of mourning. ‘There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying: . . . for the former things are passed away.’ ‘The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.’ Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 33:24.

“There is the New Jerusalem, the metropolis of the glorified new earth, ‘a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.’ ‘Her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.’ ‘The nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it.’ Saith the Lord: ‘I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people.’ ‘The tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.’ Isaiah 62:3; Revelation 21:11, 24; Isaiah 65:19; Revelation 21:3.

“In the City of God ‘there shall be no night.’ None will need or desire repose. There will be no weariness in doing the will of God and offering praise to His name. We shall ever feel the freshness of the morning and shall ever be far from its close. ‘And they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light.’ Revelation 22:5. The light of the sun will be superseded by a radiance which is not painfully dazzling, yet which immeasurably surpasses the brightness of our noontide. The glory of God and the Lamb floods the Holy City with unfading light. The redeemed walk in the sunless glory of perpetual day.

“‘I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.’ Revelation 21:22. The people of God are privileged to hold open communion with the Father and the Son. ‘Now we see through a glass, darkly.’ 1 Corinthians 13:12. We behold the image of God reflected, as in a mirror, in the works of nature and in His dealings with men; but then we shall see Him face to face, without a dimming veil between. We shall stand in His presence and behold the glory of His countenance.

“There the redeemed shall know, even as also they are known. The loves and sympathies which God Himself has planted in the soul shall there find truest and sweetest exercise. The pure communion with holy beings, the harmonious social life with the blessed angels and with the faithful ones of all ages who have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb, the sacred ties that bind together ‘the whole family in heaven and earth’ (Ephesians 3:15)--these help to constitute the happiness of the redeemed.

“There, immortal minds will contemplate with never-failing delight the wonders of creative power, the mysteries of redeeming love. There will be no cruel, deceiving foe to tempt to forgetfulness of God. Every faculty will be developed, every capacity increased. The acquirement of knowledge will not weary the mind or exhaust the energies. There the grandest enterprises may be carried forward, the loftiest aspirations reached, the highest ambitions realized; and still there will arise new heights to surmount, new wonders to admire, new truths to comprehend, fresh objects to call forth the powers of mind and soul and body.

“All the treasures of the universe will be open to the study of God's redeemed. Unfettered by mortality, they wing their tireless flight to worlds afar--worlds that thrilled with sorrow at the spectacle of human woe and rang with songs of gladness at the tidings of a ransomed soul. With unutterable delight the children of earth enter into the joy and the wisdom of unfallen beings. They share the treasures of knowledge and understanding gained through ages upon ages in contemplation of God's handiwork. With undimmed vision they gaze upon the glory of creation--suns and stars and systems, all in their appointed order circling the throne of Deity. Upon all things, from the least to the greatest, the Creator's name is written, and in all are the riches of His power displayed.

“And the years of eternity, as they roll, will bring richer and still more glorious revelations of God and of Christ. As knowledge is progressive, so will love, reverence, and happiness increase. The more men learn of God, the greater will be their admiration of His character. As Jesus opens before them the riches of redemption and the amazing achievements in the great controversy with Satan, the hearts of the ransomed thrill with more fervent devotion, and with more rapturous joy they sweep the harps of gold; and ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of voices unite to swell the mighty chorus of praise.

“‘And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.’ Revelation 5:13.

“The great controversy is ended. Sin and sinners are no more. The entire universe is clean. One pulse of harmony and gladness beats through the vast creation. From Him who created all, flow life and light and gladness, throughout the realms of illimitable space. From the minutest atom to the greatest world, all things, animate and inanimate, in their unshadowed beauty and perfect joy, declare that God is love.”19

May not one who reads this book be missing in that day is my prayer!
