The children of Israel left Egypt in the year 1437 BC. Seventy Jubilee Cycles from 1437 BC, when the Jubilee calendar began, extend to AD 1994 when the 70th Jubilee Year of the 70th Jubilee Cycle took place. Part 1 of this series is the study on Charts 1 & 2 and shows a Jubilee cycle is 49 years in length.
70 x 49 + 1 = 3,431 years from the leaving of Egypt to AD 1994
+ 2,668 years From the creation Adam to Israel leaving Egypt
= 6,099 years From the creation Adam to the year AD 1994
If the total number of years from Adam to AD 1994 is six thousand years instead of six thousand and ninety-nine years, then it would coincide with the seventieth Jubilee Year being AD 1994. When one adds 2,668 to 1,437, we come up with 4,105, which is off by around one hundred years, which most would agree with.
There is no certainty the times mentioned in the Bible are one hundred percent accurate. See Daniel 7:25, where we are told that someone will “think to change the times.”
The seventieth Jubilee year is accurately given as AD 1994, and 1437 BC is the true date of the Exodus from Egypt because Elohim put a template within those cycles, so we might have the assurance that 1437 BC is correct and AD 1994 is correct. With AD 1994 being confirmed by the Jubilee calendar, I have come to the assumption that AD 1994 is also the six thousandth year since Adam was created. The uncertainty lies with the ages of the Patriarchs of the Old Testament.
The charts given in Part 2b of this study show that the years of 457 BC, 408 BC, AD 34, and AD 1798 are specific years pointed out in the prophecies of Daniel, and it is not just a coincidence they fall on Jubilee years but are there to show us the validity of the Jubilee calendar and its starting point and ending point. With the seventieth Jubilee cycle ending in AD 1994, and if it is also the six thousandth year since Adam was created, then today (Jan. 2023) we are in the twenty-eighth year since AD 1994 according to the Biblical Lunar-solar calendar that began at sunset on April 16, 2022.
In Daniel 7:25 of the New American Standard, we read, "he [the papacy] will intend to make alterations in times and in laws" (emphasis added).
In Jeremiah 8:8, we read, "The pen of the scribes is in vain" (emphasis added).
Daniel 7:25 talks about the "little horn," which we discovered is the papacy. But what about what is said in Jeremiah 8:8? Do we have any assurance the scribes always copied what they were copying correctly? We can read about how ancient Israel never followed the ways of Yahuwah Elohim in the Old Testament. Is it a possibility the scribes perverted the Scriptures? "For you have perverted the words of the living Elohim, of Yahuwah of hosts our Elohim" (Jer. 23:36, emphasis added). If they did, then this could be one of those instances that can be found in the Old Testament where they had their hand in mischief-making. Were they used by Satan to try to keep us from arriving at important information and to keep us from discovering certain precious truths Yahuwah Elohim would desire to make known to us who are living at “the time of the end?” Going with the assumption we are in the six thousand and twenty-eighth year since Adam was created does not affect what is being discussed in this series. It does enable us to keep track of time during these last years of earth’s history before the return of Yahushua. The fact that AD 1994 is the seventieth Jubilee year since 1437 BC is what is important and is where our focus should be.
"Yahushua Messiah is the same yesterday, and today, and forever" (Heb. 13:8). And Elohim is no different than His Son. They are alike and consistent in Their dealings with humanity. "I change not" (Mal. 3:6).
I ask the question: “If Elohim gave an additional thirty-six years after the ten Jubilee cycles to the nation of Israel before He destroyed their city and Temple, is He giving humanity an additional thirty-six years after the seventy Jubilee cycles before the conclusion of this earth's history and Yahushua returns? If so, then we are in the twenty-eighth year since the seventieth Jubilee cycle ended in AD 1994, hence 6,028 (April 17, 2022 – April 6, 2023, are the dates of the Biblical Lunar-solar calendar year 6,028). We have less than eight years before the end comes and Yahushua returns. AD 2030 will be the thirty-sixth year since the seventieth Jubilee Cycle ended. Regardless of whether or not AD 1994 is the six thousandth year since Adam was created, AD 2030 is the thirty-sixth year since the end of the seventieth Jubilee cycle.
With the condition of the world, one wonders whether we can even bear another eight years. I became a Christian in AD 1973, expecting Yahushua to return very soon. Forty-nine years later, He has not yet returned. Has there been a delay? Elohim's purposes know no haste or delay. He is punctual; He is always right on time. "But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My Master delays His coming" (Matt. 24:48, emphasis added). It may very well be we have not understood Elohim's timeline correctly. In Acts 1:7, Yahushua told His disciples, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which My Father hath put in His Own power" (emphasis added).
It may not have been necessary for the disciples to know, but it is necessary for us to understand "the times and the seasons!" Yahushua told us He will return, and when He does, He will be right on time; His time, not our time. I have memorized a number of Psalms, and over and over again, I have come across the word "wait." We are an impatient species. We have a great need for patience or at least I do. "For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of Elohim, you might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry" (Heb. 10:36-37, emphasis added). When Yahushua returns, He will come right on time and "will not tarry" even though to us it may seem that He does. "Amen. Even so, come, Master Yahushua" (Rev. 22:20).
When Yahushua came the first time, He came right on time. “But when the fullness of the time was come, Elohim sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law” (Gal. 4:4, emphasis added). If the Jews had been studying Daniel 9:24-27, they would have known when He was coming and where He would come (Mic. 5:2). Will we repeat the failure of ancient Israel by not doing our studying?
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. Howbeit when He the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come" (John 16:12-13). Yahushua told us we will not know the day nor the hour (Matt. 25:13), but He never said we could not know when the month or the year would be, did He? In using the Jubilee calendar, we can locate the year (AD 2030) when He will return. To determine the month He will return, we must look to another calendar - the Biblical Lunar-solar calendar.
